Richard Watson
Richard Watson joined Burgham Park in July 2023. Richard comes with a fabulous reputation built on his work in a number of areas in Northumberland.
He is joining Burgham at an exciting time for the club and his appointment will be positive for the club and our members.
Richard is a PGA Professional newly qualified following a 3 Year Degree with the PGA from the University of Birmingham. Richard played the majority of his amateur golf out of Hexham Golf Club, Northumberland but first started playing at Foxton Hall, Alnmouth as a junior. Richard believes in a coaching philosophy that seeks to build the swing around the golfer not the golfer around the swing - we all have our on strengths and limitations.
Feedback on lessons Richard has delivered on both the course and the range has already been fabulous. In addition Richard has started reviewing our shop and set up a club fitting service and will be setting up a repair and regripping service asap.
