For those looking to sharpen their skills, we offer extensive practice facilities, including a 300-yard private driving range, a large practice putting green that mirrors the conditions of our course greens and on site coaching and tuition

The Gents' Section hosts organised competitions on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, offering plenty of opportunities for competitive and social play. Our Gents’ team participates in various matches, while individual members and pairs frequently enter Northumberland and North East competitions or enjoy playing at other clubs’ Opens. Whether you’re seeking competition or camaraderie, the Gents’ Section has something for everyone.

Our Ladies’ Section is vibrant and welcoming, with organised competitions held on Saturday mornings, as well as additional competitions and social "roll-up" golf on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Ladies’ team competes in the NLCGA Shield Division 3 and the Norah Percy KO Trophy. Whether you’re new to golf or an experienced player seeking competitive opportunities, our Ladies’ Section is here to support and welcome you.

The Seniors’ Section is an active and integral part of our club, offering regular competitions on Mondays and Wednesdays, as well as plenty of opportunities for social golf. Our Seniors’ team regularly competes in team matches against other clubs in the area, providing a fantastic chance to play on different courses and connect with golfers from across the region.

In addition to the activities within each section, we host a range of fantastic golfing and social events where all three sections - Ladies, Gents, and Seniors - come together to share and celebrate across the club. These events foster camaraderie and highlight the inclusive, community-focused spirit of Burgham Park.

This season, we are proud to invest in our Junior Section, having completed the necessary safeguarding work to welcome and encourage more young golfers to our club. We are passionate about helping boys and girls improve, enjoy, and compete in the wonderful game of golf.

As a member of Burgham Park Golf Club, you’ll have the chance to play in regular competitions throughout the summer, including medal, stableford, bogey, knockout, and Texas scramble formats. Competing in these events allows you to gain an official WHS Index handicap, which reflects your playing ability.

In addition to competitions, members enjoy numerous opportunities for social golf, often culminating in refreshments and lively conversations about that unforgettable 32-foot putt in one of our welcoming bars.
