Burgham has a reputation for welcoming new members, ensuring they are included in club competitions and social activities.

Our clubhouse is a great place for eating, drinking and socialising with new found friends and also to bring your family and friends along too. It really is a great way to network with other people from the area and make life-long friendships with other members.

Being a member of Burgham Park gives you the opportunity to play a fantastic championship parkland course when you like, as often as you like. Whether you enjoy the challenge of weekly competitions or a relaxing social game, the course is great fun to play for golfers whatever their ability.

Most golfers want to practice at least some part of their game from time to time, some more than others! We therefore have an extensive range of practice facilities including a 300 yard long private driving range with ball dispenser, short game area and also a large practice putting green which closely mirror our course greens.

Burgham Park has a thriving Gents Section which always welcomes new members. The section and holds organised competitions on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

We have a Gents team playing various matches as well as individual members or pairs entering Northumberland and North East Competitions, or getting together to play at other club's Opens.

We have a fantastic Ladies Section which hold organised competitions on Saturday mornings and some also on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Ladies also play 'roll up' social golf on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The Ladies team participate in regular competitive team matches against other clubs in the area in the NLCGA Shield Division 3, the NLCGA Evening League as well as the Norah and TR Percy KO Trophies.

Our ladies always welcome new members from those just starting to play golf to those who are looking for competitive golf.

The seniors are a very active part of our club with regular competitions and many opportunities to play social golf.

The Seniors play their competitions on a Monday and Wednesday. The Seniors Section also participate in regular competitive team matches against other clubs in the area which provides the opportunity to play different courses and socialise with golfers from other clubs.

We are investing in our Junior Section this season. We have undertaken the safeguarding work to be able to encourage more junior golfers into our club. We have real aspirations to help girls and boys improve, enjoy and compete in our great sport.

Being a member of Burgham Park GC allows you to play regular ladies and men's club competitions throughout the summer season including medal, stableford, bogey, knockout and Texas scramble. Playing competitions will allow you to get an official WHS Index handicap which reflects your playing standard.

In addition our members have many opportunities to play social golf, often ending up in one of our bars to enjoy refreshments and talk about holing that 32 footer.....
